I’m an organizational effectiveness thinker and practitioner with over 20 years of professional experience in consulting and internal talent roles. In 2017, I started pursuing a master’s degree in learning and organizational change (MSLOC) from Northwestern University as well as the accompanying Designing for Organizational Effectiveness Certificate. My studies center primarily around organizational psychology, organizational change, design thinking, strategic leadership and organizational design.
In my professional experience, I’ve worked through several talent-related issues and initiatives, mostly surrounding major organizational change and employee experience. I have a passion for working with clients and helping them develop creative solutions to solve unique problems, ensuring their people practices are aligned to their business strategy. I’ve navigated several mergers and worked through complex human capital issues around globalization.
The companies I’ve called home include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jack Morton Worldwide (an Interpublic Group agency), Omnicom Media Group, ACT, Slalom Consulting, and, most recently, August Jackson, where I am the EVP of People & Culture and the leader of the Employee Engagement practice. In these roles, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from a variety of industries, including technology, advertising/media, insurance, health care, financial services, manufacturing, construction, and education.
In addition to cheering for the Northwestern Wildcats, I’m an avid Hawkeye fan, having earned my bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Iowa. When I’m not working, I’m spending time on my home turf in Chicago’s Wrigleyville neighborhood with my husband and two kids.
